My daughter and I were asked to participate in a test group for Seventh Generation before these diapers were available for purchase. I have not purchased any since because I haven’t been able to find them, however, when we used the package Seventh Generation sent us we had no issues with them. I actually thought that they fit her better than Huggies or Pampers brand training pants and I really value the chlorine-free aspect. We have used Seventh Generation diapers for about a year now and my daughter’s skin is far less irritated than it was with the regular diapers. I tried switching back to Huggies and Pampers and her skin became irritated almost immediately. The Seventh Generation training pants are really not any more expensive than the other brands. We didn’t have any problems with them leaking, I have found that the regular diapers do leak more often than other brands but I solved that problem by going up a size and changing her more frequently. All in all, these training pants are a good buy.

  2. These training pants work at least as well as Easy Ups and are better than Pull Ups at holding in messes. All that and good for the planet, too. They are chlorine and dye free and don’t have that funny ink smell that a lot of training pants do. Try the Seventh Generation wipes, too.

When my daughter was ready to start potty training, I got her some big name brand training pants and she started to get horrible diaper rashes, even though she was rarely wearing them wet and then only for short periods of time. She had always worn Seventh Generation diapers before, so I was SO HAPPY to see that they’re making training pants now. She’s young and tiny so I wouldn’t mind a smaller size, but the 2t-3t works well enough on her tiny bum. The best part is NO MORE DIAPER RASH. I love Seventh Generation!

We use these on our 3 year old, who only wears them at night and for afternoon nap. We were previously using the Pull Ups night time pants. 4 nights in a row now and not a single leak. He has not had a bowel movement in them, however, but they contain the pee just as well as the other brand.

I decided to try the Seventh Generation training pants for night time use. Two of my sons still need training pants at night and one would wake up soaked each night. I thought I’d try this brand.

The Seventh Generation product is much more absorbent than the other brands I have tried. They also smell better somehow. When my son wakes up his training pants don’t smell like they used to.

Although they are more expensive when you figure price per training pant, I don’t go through as many as I did with other brands since he lasts through the night with just one.

I think the sizing had to do with the shape of the child. I strictly used the weight guide and have found these to run larger than other brands. One of my kids has a rounder tush and would often need a bigger size training pant. I didn’t have to do that with Seventh Generation because they are cut better for him. My oldest son is weighs more than the weight range I purchased. He has no tush or tummy and he fit just fine in a smaller size. Again, I was not able to do this with other brands.

I don’t mind not having resealable sides. The pants are easy to get in and out of for potty use. They also don’t tear as easily as other brands. I don’t have as many wasted diapers this way.

I order these exclusively online as I can’t find them in large enough quantities in the store. I’ve bought from several online sites and the price is usually about the same.

I wish I would have used this brand from day one.
