Obviously this was purchased to go with the Dreambaby gate and we couldn’t be more happy with how it works.
The gate is located in our hallway, which is 60″ wide, and this extension makes it fit perfectly. No drilling was needed, it is tension mounted, and has been very sturdy. We’ve been using it since June. With 4 people and two dogs the gate is used A LOT and has held up very well. Only as occasional adjustment to the tension has been needed to keep the door swinging closed.

I bought the tall gate for the top and bottom of my stairs. The two gates cost me $130 including shipping and then I found out I needed bigger extensions than the ones that came with it. That was $60 more for 2. Overall, I spent nearly $200 on baby gates. I decided to send it all back and go with a simple wooden baby gate ($40) that screwed into the wall and it’s worked wonders!
